The Women’s Shave Club is looking for a Content Marketing Manager and  that will envision, curate and optimize exceptional content-driven experiences for our prospects and customers. They will work cross-functionally with colleagues in content, design, operations, paid acquisition, web operations and communications to create a seamless path through each step of the buyer’s journey, leveraging SEO, website flow and conversion optimization, nurture sequences and lifecycle marketing. We are looking for someone who is excited about part of a great startup and thinking out of the box.

  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and readability of all content in assigned subject areas.
  • Develops content and creates specifications of new and revised articles or features.
  • Identifies authors, edits manuscripts for style, tone and grammar.
  • Resolves customer queries and responds to customer comments.
  • Suggests appropriate media for articles
  • Execute a launch strategy and plan for sustaining communications campaigns.
  • Building communications material and working with business leaders to develop an approach for communicating incentives to their specific teams. Identify key SEO terms and drive website content creation to increase rankings in conjunction with our content team
  • Optimize landing pages and website properties for conversion through A/B testing
  • Develop and execute a cross-channel content marketing plan that translates business and marketing goals into meaningful content deliverables
  • Collaborate across the marketing organization to identify new content themes, topics and formats in collaboration with company thought leadership program
  • Play an active role in developing our messaging framework, persona value map, content roadmap, and content schedule


  • 1+ years of related startup experience
  • Experience developing and refining nurture programs
  • Proven experience with Digital Marketing tools including; WordPress, Twitter, Hootsuite, Google analytics,
  • Experience with SEO, social media, and digital marketing trends and best practices
  • Eagerness to learn new things and take on new responsibilities
  • Ability to learn and develop incentive compensation and audience expertise Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled at coordinating complex projects and aligning multiple stakeholders to achieve business goals
